Clash/Ramones Cover Night

Last night was on of the funnest shows I have ever played!  About a month ago, a few of us set up a Punk Rock Halloween show at The Mercy Lounge, here in Nashville.  We (White Riot) did a 14 song Clash set & Warthog played the first Ramones record, front to back, along with other hits after that.  They busted out 21 songs!  It was also a special night for me because I got to share the stage again with one of my best friends, Dan Spencer.  He, Anthony & Paul sat in on horns for 3 songs!  Thanks again to everyone who came out & to Damon, Nathan & Shane for playing with me!  Hope you had as good a time as we did!

Setlist:  Safe European Home, Complete Control, London’s Burning, Death Or Glory, White Riot, Clampdown, Should I Stay Or Should I Go, Pressure Drop, Revolution Rock, Rudie Can’t Fail, (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais, Career Opportunities, London Calling & I Fought The Law

Here are some photos Nate Henry and I got from the show…

Punk Rock Halloween!

A bunch of friends of mine and I are throwing a party for Halloween weekend!  My friends in Superdrag have a Ramones cover band (Warthog) and asked if I would put together a Clash cover band…done!  We’ll be both playing full sets from both bands.  The Clash is, easily, my favorite band.  I am beyond excited to dress up and play some of my favorite songs.  I even have a special guest planned from one of my old bands.  So, if you’re of age and are looking for something to do on October 29th, come on out to the Mercy Lounge for the Punk Rock Halloween!
